The tradition of the Holloway Memorial, which originally used the Trentham racecourse, is revisited with the event now being held at the Motukarara Race Course. The race has over the years had a reputation as a “proper cross country” and the undulating 2km course on variable terrain at Motukarara will continue that tradition.
The race, named after Arthur Holloway, has an interesting history and more on that history can be read here.
