The tradition of the Holloway Memorial, which originally used the Trentham racecourse, is revisited with the event now being held at the Motukarara Race Course. The race has over the years had a reputation as a “proper cross country” and the undulating 2km course on variable terrain at Motukarara will continue that tradition.

Entrance: off Park Rd (which is off Duck Pond Road, off Highway 75 towards Akaroa). Note: this is a change from previous years.

Drive Time: approximately 35 minutes from Central Christchurch
Parking: Parking will be in the centre of the racecourse, which can be accessed off Duck Pond Rd. Please follow the parking signs and marshals. Please don’t use the domain for parking, and strictly no vehicles on any grass areas within the race course grounds. Note: this is a new location from previous years.
Tents: set up area near the start / finish line or use the grandstand, last entry 12:45PM.
